Hello! My name is Jo Gardiner and I am an independent House & Pet Sitter here in Claydon, nr Ipswich in Suffolk. I do not employ any staff.

Each year as I planned my summer holiday with my husband and then two young children, I also had to arrange for friends or family to check over my house, feed my cat, and clean out my rabbit’s and guinea pig’s homes. This proved to be quite a task to put onto someone else, especially if that someone was not used to scooping poop from a rabbit’s cage! So I began my business a few years later providing the very same services that I myself had previously required.

For many years I welcomed client’s dogs, cats and other animals into my own home whilst their owners were away. With the addition of my own cat to our family we now only accept small pets and occasionally birds into our own home and garden. I also offer shorter visits, occasionally longer stays or overnights, to those pets and animals needing care in their own home whilst their owners are on holiday, at work, in hospital or just out for the day or a weekend.

I enjoy doing professionally what comes naturally to me – caring for pets and homes. Each day I am truly grateful for the opportunities and new experiences that come my way; meeting some great people and their pets through my work!
