If you prefer your cat(s) to stay at home when you are away this could be the better solution than a cattery or other boarding facility. You may also prefer someone to be with your cat for much more time than can be offered with one or two shorter visits during the day when in-between visits they are left on their own for long periods of time.
I will be honest and say that it is unlikely that I can stay with your cat(s) for the entire day as well as for the night for the whole time you will be away from home. I would ask that you be aware that I could be asked to go out on other pet visits for varying lengths of time although I will always stay throughout the evening and overnight with your cat(s).
Outside of the peak holiday seasons and during the winter months in general I am better placed to be able to spend more time in your home with your cat(s). I understand that the many different personalities of cats means that some will love a lap and cuddles, some prefer a windowsill or a bed upstairs, and some are nervous and will keep their distance whilst others are ‘grumpy’ and will like to be left alone! But whatever your cat’s preference is, especially with a different ‘carer’ than they are normally used to, they may just like to know that there’s someone around to reassure them they haven’t been left and forgotten.
