If you’re going away it can be less stressful for your cat or kitten to stay in his/her own familiar environment and surroundings, and to be fed and cared for with the same routines that he/she is used to.
Visits are usually for 15 minutes or 30 minutes, occasionally 60 minutes or more, and are normally for once a day, occasionally twice a day, all depending on my schedule at the time. You could consider using an automated feeder for one of the feeds if this would suit your cat/s, this can work very well and also helps to reduce your visit fees. I ask you to provide your cat’s normal food, treats if allowed, toys and fresh litter. I can administer any medication/injections if required.
If my schedule allows for it I am happy to spend some extra time with your cat(s) or kitten(s) if they like to have someone with them for company. This is especially helpful for the indoor cats or any cats who would like to have me stay with them in the evening after their long daytime nap! You are welcome to enquire as to whether I would be available for live-ins or overnight stays but this would more than likely involve me going out on other visits at some stage during the day, especially during peak holiday seasons, and may depend on where you live and any specific needs for your pet/s.
You may wish to include my house-check options, this means that as well as caring for your cat I will also perform tasks such as opening and closing curtains, turning lights on or off, collecting mail, putting bins out, and watering indoor/outdoor plants. Depending on where you live I may have to add fuel costs to the fee for each visit.
