Small-Pet / Bird Visits

Please ensure you check the distance from my home to yours and any fuel costs involved (see note below) before contacting me. I also offer pet boarding in my own home/garden (this could work out as a cheaper option for you) see Small-Pet Boarding.

PLEASE NOTE:- I am currently providing services to a large customer base and it may not be possible to fit in pet visits if you are a long distance from my home or require two visits per day especially in peak holiday seasons, however all enquiries for my availability are still welcome.

I can visit your home while you’re away to feed and care for your smaller pets, domestic farm animals or birds and keep to the same routines that they are used to.

My visits are timed to best suit your pets. I give them food, water, fresh hay/straw and fresh bedding, and clean their living accommodation as required.  Visits are usually for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or occasionally 60 minutes, once or twice a day depending on my schedule.

Some clients are happy for me to visit their outdoor pets without needing the key to their home, but just providing me with a padlock key for the back gate or pet enclosure.  If this is the case I will need to know how to provide fresh water, where to dispose of soiled bedding and uneaten food, and if applicable where to store the fresh eggs!

You may wish to include my house-check options, this means that as well as caring for your pets I will also perform tasks such as opening and closing curtains, turning lights on or off, collecting mail, putting bins out, and watering indoor/outdoor plants.

I ask you to provide your pets’ normal food, bedding and toys, and I can administer any medication needed.  It’s handy for you to write down some essential notes so you can tell me everything about your pets and where all provisions are stored.

*You must live in Claydon or Barham for 15 minute time slots.  £9-£10 minimum charge per visit if you live outside the Claydon/Barham area, depending on your location and any additional tasks involved.

Fuel Costs: Depending on where you live, see pricing above, I may have to charge fuel costs for each RETURN journey to your home.  These are currently set at 30p per mile and will be added to the fee for each visit.
