Jo is brilliant – she takes Lucy my French bulldog out twice a week and even does a bit of training with her – she’s been better on the lead ever since. I’m really happy to have found Jo and would have no problem recommending her to anyone!
I have used Jo as “my cat lady” for the past 2 years, she is a lovely lady, very calm & kind. My 4 cats are always well fed & looked after when she cat sits for me. She has a key for my home on a permanent basis as she is very trustworthy. She always leaves the cat areas very clean & tidy.
I would definitely recommend using her to look after any pets & your home.

Jo has always visited and is very caring and friendly and extremely reliable and trustworthy. She keeps us up-to-date frequently when we are away and the cats have taken to Jo. Outstanding service. Jo and her family treated our dog and cat as if they were their own. Nothing was any trouble, even though our dog was recovering from a leg operation. I found them very professional and trustworthy, leaving my pets is no longer stressful as I know they are in safe hands. Highly recommended.
I am very happy with the care given to my dogs. Jo was calm and confident and took very good care of them – I don’t think they missed us at all, they were happy and stress free when we returned. I would leave them with her in the future and be confident and able to enjoy a break. Dachshunds are vulnerable as you have to pay particular care to avoid any damage to their backs, Jo’s thorough assessment of needs took this all into consideration. My husband was very impressed by the professional and efficient approach and good feedback was given by Jo as to how they had been.
We were very pleased with the service and at short notice for looking after a stray cat (with 3 kittens) that adopted us just before our holiday. We found homes for the kittens and had the cat spayed one week before we left. She was in a bit of shock and we were concerned. Jo looked after and cared for her, all the time keeping us informed by email, and upon our return we were greeted affectionately by the cat. We would certainly call upon their services in the future.
Our two cats went to stay in Mushroom Cottage’s home for nearly 2 weeks and they had the whole house and garden with personal attention and care which could never be achieved in a cattery. One of my cats is very nervous and deaf and he was cared for exceptionally well. They came home very happy and content and I have booked them in for our next holiday. Many thanks for the loving care.
